Empowerment of Scholarship Students from Arab Countries

C-LinQ will participate at the Round Table meeting in London on August 5-6 hosted by Edu-Nations, a network of many countries who award scholarships to enable young people to study abroad.

Youth engagement, empowerment, and capacity building are essential for the development of their own communities. Edu-Nations aims primarily at serving as a platform for youth who often receive scholarships to pursue their higher education outside their territories; enabling them to acquire the knowledge, values, and skills needed for their authentic contribution within their communities.

Countries encompassed include: Somalia, Sudan, Yemen, Kazakhstan, Ethiopia, Lebanon, Turkey & Iraq. The Round Table Meeting will examine examples of youth capacity building and focus on a new programme for expat students who might get caught up between the host country and their country of origin.
